After a well-earned Christmas break the MDs returned to take the inspireMEdicine conference by storm, rounding off the evening social with a packed marquee.

“Bedpans and Broomsticks” was carefully crafted over the Autumn months, even on a fun- filled weekend away to “rehearse” in Cambridge. The show was enjoyed by almost 900 people over the three days, none of which would have been possible without the fantastic team of actors, the MDs band “The Ectopic Beats” and incredibly talented backstage crew led by directors Johnny Pass and Harriet Hall.

Thank you Edinburgh Festival Fringe and theSpaceUK for an amazing week at the Fringe! From meeting lovely people, to trying haggis for the first time, to performing 8 SELL OUT shows, we had a great time.

Thank you so much to everyone that attended and cheered us to the first back-to-back UH victory in our history. It was an absolute pleasure to represent RUMS, and we hope you enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed performing.

The MDs' fittest and stealthiest once again took part in the RUMS (UCL Medics) intersociety annual charity netball tournament. 

Sporting the weirdest set of onesies known to mankind, the MDs "farmyard" slid up and down the court in what for many was more exercise than they had done in the past year combined. 

Grouped with the university women's football, badminton and rugby, the MDs fought galiantly and once again provided guaranteed laughs to all the spectators. 

Although shockingly not making it past the group stages, the MDs helped to raise over £600 for KEEN London and proved beyond anything else that running doesn't really work in babygrows.
